DRC's Anthony Ferrante named winner of the 2011 Lewis Katz Cardiovascular Research Prize
2011 Winner of the Lewis Katz Cardiovascular Research Prize

Dr. Ferrante received the 2011 Lewis Katz Prize for Cardiovascular Research. The Katz Prize is award annually to a junior faculty member for research that furthers understanding of cardiovascular function and disease.
He also received an award from The Science Unbound Foundation for the "Best Paper of 2010" on obesity-related researched published by the New York Obesity Research Center. The manuscript title: Weight loss and lipolysis promote a dynamic immune response in adipose tissue, Kosteli et al, Journal of Clinical Investigation, 2010.
